Funny. Shy I guess.
Btw, in a certain zombie dead, the zombies are called "walkers", so a long dark tunnel would not where one would want to meet three of them.

Indy, can't recall but did you read the book or see the film. Effing dark tale, but untypically the film waa as strong as the book in my opinion. So scary because it showed a side of human nature that is very real, just like Lord of the Flies.

I worked at a camera shop back in the day, and remember putting the 110 cartridges all into one envelope to be sent off for processing.
speaking of cartridges, anyone remember those Minox spy cameras? They used a teeny weeny cartridge also, and I remember a few times sending those off for processing.

That’s the east portal of the eastern tunnel, near one end of the rideable section. There is a parking lot a short walk away, so there is easy access. Most of the graffiti on the road is on the western end, which also has easy access.

FWIW, I use either a better quality point and shoot (Olympus TG-4) or my Samsung Galaxy 10 phone. One day I want to get a full format camera but until then I just work on my technique. I have to say, except for certain effects the fisheye allows on my Olympus, the phone camera impresses me. I know some people are now using I phones as their primary camera instead of standard housings so the camera itself need not be limiting (too much).
I am very fortunate that I scuba dive with two excellent UW photographers and our extended dive group is also mainly photographers. One used to be the editor for an UW Photography e magazine to which I have contributed ideas around GoPro video editing. There is a lot of talk and sharing of ideas that I benefit from. I'm the odd man out using a point and shoot but they say I have a pretty good eye for composition so I can pull off a few winners once in a while even so. They are now also all into taking pictures of birds! because they've all gotten bazooka zoom lens' for trips. I am learning a lot about owls...
Sometimes we have 3-4 hour drives to locales and its almost all photo talk, particularly the concept of capturing images rather than off handedly taking pictures as they/we put focus (pun intended) on that as the primary purpose which diving just facilitates. When I ride I am also always thinking of what the landscape presents that way and touring is a sort of photography centered activity as well.
I like B&W and it helps me learn about adjusting light values in post processing, so I am still learning as I edit. If I could only do one type of shot it would be wide angle B&W landscapes and biking lends itself to that.

This was part of a loop I did between Banff and Castle. The 1a Hwy was closed to cars and very quiet, bikes and hikers would likely do an out and back, but there were certain views/photo opportunities that I knew were along the Trans Canada Hwy. I also managed a headwind both ways!
