What fenders/racks are you running?

Welcome to the forum.

I'm using a Tubus Tara front rack and a Tubus Cargo Classic on the back. They are great racks, and a good investment. The Classic on my wife's bike has about 25,000 touring miles on it.

The fenders are SKS Bluemels 45s. They will fit up to a 38 mm tire. I'm running 32 mm tires on this bike. I like the front fender's quick release safety feature.

I usually take the front fenders off when shipping the bikes, but I leave the rear fender on. The fender might get all the weight of the bike on it during shipment, but they don't get damaged.

Look at the SKS cromeplastic. I put a pair on my Daughter's " LHT. If you use wide tires, the 50 will work.

45 is the width not the model, bluemel is the model and the make them in 53, 60, and 65 for 26”.

SKS has lots of fenders for 26” wheels

work fine and are very well made.
a little finicky for installation with having to cut the stays to a given length in order to install the mount thingees (thingees are closed ended, not open, so one has to measure and cut the stays for your situation, for the end of the stay to seat into the thingees. Very technical term I know, but there you go.

Aluminum fenders mount faster than plastic and are all around better, but the plastic go better with my MTB turned townie.

I have a pair of nearly 30 year old sks fenders that are still kicking, so the chromoplastic whatever material is pretty tough. I like how my silver sks look and certainly like how they are fairly lightweight. They are the ones on my Troll.

safe riding and especially safe interactions with people during all the daily stuff. A friend of the son of a friend of ours was riding across Canada, sleeping in his tent, on the road all day, and still got covid, here where the vast vast majority of people understand the importance of following the simple basic guidelines to greatly reduce transmission.

Have been going through my library. Cemetery in Lancaster County, PA, which is big Amish and Mennonite country. 2014 during a week-long trip from Vienna, OH to Philadelphia. Beautiful day. The previous day it had rained for more than 70 miles, stopping only when I close to my campground, or course.

The 127 between Tecopa Hot Springs and Baker, CA, Sept, 2019. The headwind was too strong to make it to Baker by sundown. I was in my granny gear on level ground, so I rolled off the highway and pitched my tent. This is why I always carry extra water when I ride through the desert.

Warranted. Used trainside-checked service to Pittsburgh last September. Didn't watch them load the bike but saw the handler, who was not burly guy, trying to get my heavy rig off the hook in Pittsburgh. I was very concerned that he would break a spoke or two.
