I ordered my LHT frame and fork in fall 2004. At that time only the sage color existed.

The first few years they were only sold as frame and fork, not as complete bikes. I am not sure what year complete bikes started, but I have 2004 and 2007 catalogs on my hard drive and in 2007 the complete bikes were listed in the catalog.

Surly's site for their catalog archive: Downloads
According to the site above, the LHT frame and fork only became available in 2004. The earliest they list the LHT as a complete bike is 2007. Weird that the 2006 catalog is Japanese only for some peculiar reason.
For a long time the Cross-Check was their only complete bike.
From what I have seen and read and FWIW, Surly is not known for complete accuracy in their catalogs!

I bought the frameset back in 2005. I no longer own the bike but I sure miss that sage green color. It was most pleasant to look at.

Not positive but IIRC I bought first-year DT in 2012.
