replacement parts for large jandd pannier
I think this is a shot in the dark, but I have the following Jandd pannier.
Large Mountain Pannier
Unfortunately, it needs a replacement of the top hood pocket, the one that zips on and off. I got in contact with Jandd, but apparently they do not sell replacement parts. Perhaps there is someone here that has one of these panniers that is broken, or no longer being used, and might be interested in selling off the replacement part? Or maybe, someone knows of where else I might try to locate the replacement part?

Not that this really helps, but I have a barely used pair that it turns out I don't really care for. If you decide you want a complete replacement let me know.

Thanks for the reply, but my hope was that I could salvage the pair that I already have. It seems an awful waste to have to retire such nice bags because of one missing part.

How much are you looking to sell them for? I may be interested in them if you still have them. I've been wanting a black set.

You could probably sew your own part, or repair what you have. Does the zipper need to match? Do you have the matching zipper parts?
Perhaps look up "Seamstress" or "Custom Sewing". Maybe there would be someone local that would specialize in camping and packing gear.
