Wheels

I see the 2017s advertised as having Vera Terra rims on the wheelset. Mine came with Vera Corsa, which seem to be a step up in terms of design and quality. I've been impressed. I loaded front and rear panniers (about 40-50 lbs total) and had no problems with the wheels on a weekend tour.

The xxxl has a stack height that matches what younare looking for.
You are right, at 610mm the stack on the XXXL is relatively low, and comparable to the stack on size L/XL for other manufacturers. It is just about correct for me. Has anyone seen any photos of the touring in a 64cm?

In 80's I rode a Fuji sport-touring bike that was pretty good. Current Fuji tourer is a pretty good value but note that REI's 2016 Novara Randonées are now discounted from $1,200 to $783.

Another excellent deal but only the XXL available at that price online.

Fuji Touring Road Bike -- 2017

Whatcha all think?
I don't know about the rest, but the TRP RRL brake levers are waaaaay more comfortable/ergonomic than the RL520s. Seems like a big downgrade for ~$30 of savings.

I use the RRLs on both of my drop-bar/bar-end shifter-equipped bikes.
