Nun is this the ortlieb your talking about.

I have the Acorn tall rando bag and won't be parting with it.
Waxed canvas and all, it always surprises me just how light is the empty bag. The temptation with a bag this size is to load it up, and then it becomes heavy. You won't be disappointed with Ostrich, they make great bags and, especially if you bought it from Alex's Cycles in Japan, are the biggest bang for the buck. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v7...aaKIMG0009.jpg |
Throwing out the out the alternate mounting hardware, Nitto F15 is a handlebar rack (Ostrich equivalent is Hook Rack K).
Ostrich makes several nice bags that hang from this rack. Ely at Ruthworks made this one for me. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v7...9683e9347c.jpg |

Really into Bringing electronics on your tour?
I see the top of the Ortlieb line uses a touch thru window in the lid.. and the dynohub can be wired to the bag mount on the handlebars, with electrical contacts to the bag, so the bag with all your stuff in it comes off and un plugs in the same moment.. |
for a dynamo system ?
i think the simpler the better water proof no rattles and doesn't hinder with Sti shifting and light . |
