Installing an old Ortlieb handlebar bag mount
Hi All
I have an Ortlieb Ultimate3 handlebar bag (one of the older models) that I am trying to install on my handlebars. I am having difficulty working out the winding pattern for the cables as the design of the mounting bracket has changed considerably. Specifically, I cannot get the cables tight enough so that the mount doesn't slip under the weight of the handlebar bag. At the moment, when I wind the cables around each side of the handlebar (without do a criss-crossing pattern as it seems you do on the newer models), I can still rotate the mount easily.
There do not appear to be instructions on the Ortlieb website for installing older models.
A couple of photos I took of the mounting set:
drive.google.com/open?id=0B7qHi8_yt3jnZWFVTmdJOFZXNHc

Grateful if anyone could provide advice about installation!
Cheers
Mischa

Second Tandem Tom...Wayne is awesome. He walked me through the homebrew decaleur set up on my fixed gear RandoCross bike and it is working quite well his idea was better than the original idea I was replicating.

Every day a winding road
I think I have the instructions for those old bags around some where. I can try to find them if you get stuck.
But here is a video
It is for the 6 but might be the same as the 3.
