A thing nylon or poly bad would be lighter and pack smaller but I like the Cordura material of the Tardis as a good protection vs weight compromise. I discarded cardboard at the airports, and as Return tickets cost About as much as one way , Have just bought another ticket for my return flight.

Ok, I'm personally responsible for airlines over booking, just to compensate for people like Me..
