Sq 611
So I'm thinking about maybe a different saddle.
What's your experience and thoughts about the SQ 611? or any other non-leather saddle?
I'll repeat non-leather.
Thanks!

610 Active is working pretty good for me. Comfy both upright & on drops. SQ design reinforces correct posture & the Active bits smooth out the ride.

Right now I'm close to maxxing out the wt limit, I want to lose a fair bit of wt.
My bicycle is a Trek 920 with drop bars, standard bend. I ride on the hoods 50%, upper bend 30% Top flats 20% drops less than 10%, approx. Seat and bars are about level.
Sorry BA I have no interest in leather at this point.
Any opinions about the 610 vs 611? The active sounds like the way I'll go with that.
Thanks for your opinions.

It is indeed showing wear after maybe 3 years of fairly light use. Some fraying and abrasions on the cotton. That said it is the most comfortable saddle I've ever had. I hate the saggy Brooks leather saddles. I replaced a wider, softer Terry Liberator with this one. It is quite neutral feeling. Not soft, not hard ...just makes contact where needed without overstating its presence.
As stated, the black one at BA's link will not show the stains.

I'd hit it with some shoe polish.

So the SQ 610 has a lowered nose ,step down, for less pressure on the perineum. Comes in different widths. The active version supposedly has less pressure on the sit bones. Did I miss anything?
The Cambium has a cut out for less perennial pressure. Does that really work? It's made of rubber. That should be okay. Cotton cover? Could be better but maybe okay. Did I miss anything?
So help me decide. What do you like about either. I guess I'm leaning towards the SQ 610. Anything to say about the active set-up?

i think if i wanted to speed 100 bucks on a new saddle, i might buy one of those. there's no doubt i would buy a C17 before i bought one of their leather saddles, of which i have, and have owned, a few.
