West Coast Bike & Golf Odyssey

These guys had a dream and they went for it. Touring 800 miles through Oregon, Northern CA ... with golf clubs in tow.

Hehe. I used to do that all summer long, before I had a car: bungee the golf cart handle to my rear rack, ride to my friends' houses, then all of us onto the golf course on bikes pulling clubs!

Glad to see they were smarter than me in gear selection, my cheap cart wheels were pretty shoddy after two summers doing that!

I knew I wasn't alone! I'm a member at the Stone Dock Golf Course which is about 2 miles from my home. All the regulars get a big kick out of seeing me ride in with my clubs in tow. I once even rode it to another course about 9 miles away. It works very well. In fact I almost forget the clubs are back there, but I can't imagine doing 800 miles. That's impressive!
