Anyone familiar with US-25 E from Kentucky to Charlotte, NC?
Looking to change my current route from the ACA TransAM. I'm in Harrodsburg, KY and want to go through Charlotte and get to the coast of North Carolina. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated :)

It's a beautiful area!
You may already have left by now, but anyways here are some thoughts:
If you haven't gone to Lexington KY yet I'd recommend it, really sweet place!
The Daniel Boone forest is fun.
You can cross the Great Smokey Mountains, or the Appalachians farther north, or cut in between them. I'd recommend the Smokeys!
Asheville's a popular city for travelers. While in the area, also look for some bluegrass music.
Charlotte's a somewhat boring banking city. The Raleigh-Durham area is academic and scenic.
When you get to the coast, Wilmington's a somewhat ordinary small city. Myrtle Beach is touristy but fun. Kitty Hawk is where the Wright Brothers turned bicycles into airplanes. And Charleston's one of the more charming cities.
