Looking for a good ol' rack.

Hello! I'm turning my Cannondale F900 into a touring bike of sorts and am looking for a front rack for my bike. One concern I have is that it is a monoshock so I'm wondering if there might be any issues with mount up front racks. I've been looking a Jandd Mountaineering racks with panniers for her but was wondering if anyone had any recommendations for this style bike. Also would like to get fenders on it to if anyone knows about fenders for a monoshock.
Much appreciated all!

One solution would be to install a rigid steel fork with appropriate axle-to-crown distance, with fittings for rack and fenders, if one exists. Then you could use standard racks and fenders. It would be necessary to use adapter/adapting headset to fit such a fork with a 1.125"/28.6mm steerer tube to the Cannondale's larger diameter headtube.

Possibly the only front rack that might work with your Cannondale F900 suspension fork is the OMM Sherpa: https://www.oldmanmountain.com/category/ALL-SH-F-26.html

It may be less costly to find a more conventional used MTB (an old one with rigid fork) and use it rather than convert the Cannondale.

found this page, with a similar cannondale with similar shock, using an OMM

https://bicycles.stackexchange.com/q...spension-forks

I had an inexpensive front rack that used to be sold by MEC years ago, that has oversize clamp type things for wide front suspension tubes. It was ok, but wasnt really a strong strong attachment system.
not made anymore, i sitll have it in my garage, but cant recall who made it. I suspect it was a cheap knockoff, but to be fair, the actual tubing and welds were ok, just how the rack attached to the clamp things was not super strong. Even had a over curving loop to keep it rigid and not to go into the wheels.
