The LifeProof case worked well for me on my SE in Ireland (and the UK and France) but I wasn't trying to navigate while riding. Biggest problem I had was once the outside screen on the case became wet, swipe and typing functions didn't work.

It's good to know the Quad Lock Poncho is waterproof.
Also,vI used to have a lifeproof case and can also attest that touchscreen is useless if the outside is wet. |

I use a QuadLock case. It comes with a waterproof cover that is reasonably touch-sensitive. I used it on a tour along Hadrian’s Wall during which it alternately dripped and poured. (In late July, mind you.) The phone stayed perfectly dry. On https://support.quadlockcase.com/hc/...f0b8eb8b3f6c0f I read the following: Is the Poncho waterproof? The Poncho is designed to be a weather resistant cover, not a 'waterproof' case meaning that it can withstand light rain but must not be submerged in water. It is designed to resist water coming from the front and sides of the phone, however the back is not immune to any liquid contact. It also protects the phone from dust, sweat and mud. As for showers and downpours, you will need to use your best judgement to determine if your device will need further protection to keep it dry. Quad Lock reserves the right to not be held responsible for any damages while using the Poncho. |
