stupid question US pedals on a european bike?
I am leaving august first to study at the universty of Leiden in The netherlands. I was planing on biuying something cheap and utilitarian, but something good enough to get me on 40-60km rides. At any rate, I don't see myself doing 60km on flat pedal so I was planning on taking my lake mx60 shows and some spd pedals. I just wanted to make sure that a dutch bike would take the smae pedals and my currents bikes. I figured they would, but I wanted to be shure before I did my packing.
thanks for your help

Pedal thread is one of the few universal standards. Your clipless pedals will fit any crank.
You may also want to consider taking your own saddle.

This is NOT true - pedal threads are not universal. The pedals of many BMX & department store bikes are 1/2 inch, rather than the more common 9/16 inch.
