Cobb Saddle Deal

These are $200 saddles being sold for $20. I ordered a few. They are new without the box, and they are the real deal. They shipped immediately. I did a 30 mile ride on one and was pleased with it. We'll need to grow on each other, but I can tell it's going to work well. Paying through GoodWill is NOT secure. I used the PayPal option.

Ordered 5 of various types..thanks! If I or my immediate circle can't use them then I'll sell them (at cost).

Glad to see y'all taking advantage of the deal. Let me know how you like them.

Thanks for the heads up. I was just looking for some less expensive saddle options.

I have three rides of 30 plus miles on mine, and I think this is going to be a thumbs up. Each ride finds us meshing a little bit better. How about the rest of you?

I picked up 5: 3 Randee's, and two of the v-flow's. I got the randees for friends(too narrow for me) and one liked it and kept it. He also picked up another model from the deal and liked/kept it. Another person tried tried a randee and was a no-go(too wide for him). My GF tried a randee on her mtn bike..nope(too wide)..so I have two randee's I'll need to sell at some point. The two v-flows went on my GF's road bikes..two thumbs up and smiles in both cases.

Looks like GW still has them..most are in auction mode, but still a great deal.

My Randee has been the best!

Oso Polar 05-25-20 02:49 PM

Randee didn't work at all - its width is not decreasing fast enough for me from its back to its nose, so it ends up rubbing (or, I'd even say - hitting) the inside of the thighs. San Remo seems to be pretty good for me. Wife is testing V Flow and it seems to work okay for her so far...

katsup 05-25-20 10:11 PM

I only picked up the Randee and have a few hundred miles on it, but only one or two ~50 mile rides with gym shorts and it worked for those. I did put my old saddle on for a longer 65 mile ride, but that was a mistake, so the Randee went back on. I haven't had the opportunity to put a long ride on the Randee yet as the 50+ rides are the real test. The width of the Randee seems to work, but I am still making minor adjustments to the position of the saddle.

Looking back, I probably should of picked up a San Remo as well.

So, I'm guessing the old saying "rough as a cob" doesn't apply here

I keep reading the thread title as “Cobb Salad Deal.”😀

Post in the facilitator thread. For those prices, double shipping ain't bad...
