Mountain Bike Tour in Scotland - "Coast to Coast"

Hi. I'm signed up for a seven day coast to coast mtn bike trip in Scotland this July. If anyone has done this or a similar trip, I'd love to hear how it went? What weather can I expect? The tour company classifies it as "moderate to difficult" and has given me a description of what this means, but any first hand experience would be great. Thanks,

I live in Scotland and have done this tour quite a few times. Don't worry , you will enjoy it and the terrain is not too demanding especially as it sounds like you will be doing a supported tour. The weather in Scotland tends to be unpredictable, but, hey, that's part of the charm...right? Relax and have a good time.

Scottish weather can vary.
At the moment it is as good as it gets, warm and sunny.

It can vary and the worst for summer is low teens (possibly 10C), continual rain and winds.
