Swapped out handlebars on Trek 520

Hello all. A little while back, I posted asking if anyone changed out their drop bars with Jones Loop H bars. After tons of research, I finally pulled the plug and figured I would share on this thread in case anyone else was thinking about it. I have 2 herniated discís in my neck, so the drop bars were killing not only my neck, but my wrists as well. Even only after 30 minutes on, I was so uncomfortable. I had purchased the bars directly from Jones and then took them to my LBS to have them do the work. They swapped them out and I changed my bar end shifters to the Shimano M3000 series MTB shifter/brake lever combos. I also had installed myself a few weeks earlier a riser kit to make my handlebars higher thinking that maybe I could go that route instead of swapping out the bars, but that alone did not work. However, the riser with the combo of the Jones bars is KEY! I now sit upright with no pain whatsoever and it is so comfortable. Below are a few pictures of the new bars installed.

Jones Bars worked for me as well on my Specialized AWOL. I have no problem sitting on the bike now for 7+ hours, I started with the Jones rubber grips but switched to Ergon grips with a more of a flat surface.

I was truly tempted to get the Jones bars, but I experimented first with a cheap set of swept back bars and I did not like the hand position. I know it's more natural, but after over 40 yrs of drop bars and flat bars, it was just alien to me.
Maybe I should give it a another try.

Is the Brooks saddle intentionally misaligned?

I have the same Jones bars, and have tried them on several bikes. They seem best on what is supposed to be a drop-bar mountain bike.

Also, the instructions suggest to angle them down by about 11į or more; I found that really helped.
