Bontrager front rack: Mystery attachment points for?
Mt 520 Grando arrived (Yea!)
It came with a Bontrager front rack.
It as attachment points for ... something. But what? I'm sure they have a specific planned purpose, but what is it?
Has anyone here used these for something?

The one for a horizontal bolt under the tubing might be for a light, some people with such racks that have a dyno powered headlight hang it under the rack to one side.
The ones that are oriented for a vertical bolt, I have no clue.

betcha if ya checks the bontrager catalog, you'll find some accessories that just so happen to have mounting screws that just so happen to line up with the two horizontal mounts.....thinking maybe a front basket or lockbox maybe. the side mount prolly for a light.

I have that rack, and like it. I have an accessory mount on the left horizontal mount on which I place a blinky light, and am mounting a generator-powered light on the right horizontal mount.

My guess is they have a bag that will bolt to it or something. The ones on the side are likely for lights and such.
