Hello.

So I've searched threads and haven't found anything useful.

I'm travelling to Bonn this summer and will be riding around that area (near Koln) and am trying to find some gravel bikes to rent. My brother found Cycle Classic Tours (https://www.cctbikerental.com/rentals/koln-bike-rental/) that appears to be a clearing house of sorts for European bike rentals.

Unfortunately, no response after emailing and calling. Busy? Vacation?

Does anyone have any insight on renting nice bicycles (no city bikes etc.) in that area.

Much appreciated

This caught my attention, https://www.listnride.com/renting-a-bike, sort of an Air BnB for bikes. No experience with it and no idea if it works well but you might take a look.

Or maybe these guys: https://2rad-prumbaum.de/verleih-und-event/.

If you have a military connection you might look into the MWR (Morale Welfare and Recreation) office on an Army/Air Force base.
While I was in Germany with the Air Force I often got to check out great bikes from the WMR office up to 2 weeks at a time.
(It was there where I was introduced to 7 speed internal hub bikes.)

Thank you!

I saw the listnride, but that looked difficult logistically since there are several of us.

I just emailed the other one to inquire. It looked promising.

That's outside the box.

Not a bad idea. My brother is a former Marine who loves getting all he can from his military service (and rightly so).

I'll see what he thinks.

Much appreciated
