if so, how do you like them? do they offer enough hand positions for long rides? any drawbacks i should know about?

Like I said in one of the other threads, I don't have any serious mileage on 'em yet, but for everything I've done so far, they're pretty close to my favorite bar.

I've used them off and on on a couple of different bikes but not long enough to have a definitive opinion about them. I've got the original WTB drops. One thing that annoyed me about these bars was the width at the drops......waaaay tooo wide for me, and had the tendency for the bar end shifters to hit or snag things quite often because they stuck outward so much.

I use the Nitto Dirt Drops that Rivendell used to sell. They're not as wide as the WTB Dirt Drops, and have more drop than the WTBs. I find them to be very comfortable, the extra width is nice when you're slogging up a steep hill with loaded front panniers.
