Las Vegas to Phoenix?
Has anyone ever made this ride, Las Vegas to Phoenix, or vice versa, either purposely or as part of a longer trip? I'm thinking about making it my first somewhat-extended trip. Sorry if this is old news.

I haven't ridden it, only been to Las Vegas for a conference or two. My only thought looking at the route is that is seems like there aren't a lot of towns along the way to refill bottles, refuel the body, or spend the night. If you're comfortable with it and have a good plan, I'd say "DO IT".
