Tough to pack 3000 miles of cycling into 500 words but Calvin Woodward did a decent job of it. makes ya feel warm and fuzzy all over. Most importantly Woodward is a well known journalist and the story is in the "a" section of many papers so a lot of folks will see it and maybe cut us a break when we are lined up with thier hood ornaments

My wife thought it was a greart article and cut it out and gave it to me at dinner - just gives me the itch to be on the road. A ray of sunshine it the rainy northwest winter

One of the most enjoyable articles I've ever read. Makes me want to cross America myself. Crossing Europe is much easier for me though.
