Chalten Crossing

Hi Everyone. We are going to be crossing from Argentina to Chile over the Chalten/ Lago O´Higgins crossing here in the next couple of weeks. Wondering if anyone has the schedule to the ferries (Lago Desierto and O´Higgins), knows a bit more about if there is indeed a "tourist" ferry that goes over the Lago O´Higgins more than once or twice a month, and what the days of the crossing would be. Any random advise from people who have done the crossing? How is the Carretera Austral after the crossing? We have a webpage going for our trip if anyone wants to check it out.
Thanks for the help, cheers to all. . .
