Cactus Panniers

Has anyone had any experience with the "gripper" panniers made by Cactus in NZ? I am considering buying some and would like to know their good and bad points!

Never used the panniers, but I have a number of other bits of Cactus gear and it is all built crazy tough.
These panniers look nice and simple and have an interesting attachment mechanism that might not be as convenient as others but looks very simple and field repairable.

Crosso is another brand that is worth checking out. More of an Ortleib clone but with a much simpler (and all metal) attachment system
