Well, almost ready to pedal my new bike yes, but as for Mexico I probably won't be leaving London till around November. Trying to get prepared well in advance, as you can see. Just gotta find a way to practice my spanish between now and then...

Wow, here I am in Guatemala, and GNZ emailed me and said that people were talking about my journal on the bike forums, so I had to check out the gossip! I´m glad that people are enjoying it! As far as Mexico alone, I say GO FOR IT! I´m about to head back north in two more weeks, and I´m getting excited looking at the maps and planning it out. I hope to do mainly camping this time, I don´t have the money for the hotels now and I like the camping better. BTW I never stayed in campgrounds as someone posted on here, I don´t know that they really exist in Mexico. When I "camped" during the solo part of the trip, I asked at restaurants/tiendas and set up the tent by the people´s houses. This worked well, but with less privacy than stealth camping, which I hope to do on my way back north (don´t tell my parents!)
Anyway, if you post questions on my journal guestbook I will answer them!
--lamanda "the bee" part of bici and the bee head south : )
P.S. Hi Gonz!!
