Small panniers: Delta Compact or something else?

I'm looking for a small set of panniers to be used with an Old Man Mountain White Rock rear rack. Duties will range from glorified seat wedge (emergency stuff) to supplies for longer day trips, picnics, etc. Price range is$50-ish or less.

I'm thinking about Delta's Compact Panniers. Are these a good choice, or do you have other favorites for small panniers?

Nashbar's Daytrekker Panniers are kind of funky -- one piece. I don't know how Nashbar and Delta compare quality-wise.

The bike shops I've been to seem to primarily cary large panniers for touring, so I will most likely have to order something sight-unseen. Thanks for any experience you can share!
