I didn't get into nursing.

Well, I'm on the alternate list. Sigh.

Which means for the next year:

Florida - California - Portland for a bit - Vancouver Island, ferry to Prince Rupert - cross way way back to New York. Maybe back to Florida if I have time.

Oh, absolutely. It was kinda a win/win thing to begin with, but still-- Alternate?! What?!

But yes, I'll probably do the south over winter, the Pacific Coast for spring, across Canada over summer. Oh, adventures...

That sounds great. I'm planning something medium-sized this Fall, and re-reading Lord of the Rings, which is the perfect thing to read while you plan these things. Southern summer is usually the only time I can't get off my butt to tour. Too bloody hot.

By the way, is your avatar a picture of you, Matthew? I've probably met you in Gainsville before. I used to come down with a lot of the local punk bands on tour. Great city. Anyway, you look familiar. Might see you on the road this fall.

Hey...i've been in nursing for the past 14 years....it is a great way to always be employed...but leaves alot to be desired. An alternative with similar benefits is radiology tech school. Great pay, cool technology and similar demand for services without 100% accountability. Other than that...good luck!

Interesting. Sante Fe has a few different programs I might try to apply to as well, but I'd have to look at how well they'd translate into upper level stuff-- at some point I'm liable to go for PA or nurse practicioner or something.

But yes, many oppurtunities in all those little fields...
