A trip report from a recent short tour of the Gulf Islands, Vancouver Island and the Sunshine Coast:

Not mentioned in the article but probably of interest to this forum is my setup: 2001 Marinoni Tourismo
(lugged steel) with full Athena and front and rear Ortlieb panniers. Nothing strapped on top, save for
a six-pack near day's end. This time, I ran 32c CX tires anticipating perhaps some gravel side-trips.
