Winter Cycling in Mexico
IF you're looking for a winter cycling destination to get away from the cold and snow I highly recommend going to Mexico. I've been there many times. Usuallly solo. Never had any problems. Of all the places i've been to in Mexico i really enjoyed Oaxaca; spectacular beaches, mountains, colonial and indigineous towns and cities. Lots to see and do.
Check out the webpage i made (link below) after my tour of Oaxaca to see my itinerary, route map, photos, and other useful info and links. www.geocities.com/pathebikeguy/oaxaca Thinking of going back this January and riding from Puerto Vallarta to Acapulco along HWY 200 down Mexico's Pacific coast. Anyone outhere done this route with advice or recommandations??? |
I will do Cuba this January, Havana to Holguin, the trip will be about 1400 Km.
