LHT with flipped BB shell?

I work part time at my LBS, and I've been craving a LHT for a long time. I ordered one up, treated the frame, pressed the headset and started to put in the BB when it felt like I wasn't threading right, I took it out cleaned the threads and tried again. I couldn't figure it out and finally asked our head mechanic. We tapped it and stripped out all the threads...It ended up that the shell was flip flopped and therefore threaded backwards. Talk about having a frame built on a friday (or whenever the last day of the work week is in Taiwan?)

Has anyone else had this problem before?

Has anyone rode long distances on a San Marco Regal?

Thanks all.

The Rolls is certainly highly regarded for long distance.

Better luck with the next one.
