How much does your tourer weigh?
That's without panniers, but with racks, fenders etc.
Mine's 30lbs give or take, with rear rack, hanger racks on the forks. It's made from a Coventry Eagle 531 frame, which rides really nice.
How about yours?

Heavy tourer dressed out, dual front racks (don't ask), WITH tool kit, no water, no panniers, ABOUT 42 pounds.
Light and fast rando ride tourer, front and rear racks, ready for blitzes on long weekends, about 35 pounds.
lighter still, a credit card touring bike, 25 pounds.
I guess it all depends, eh?

My LTH is 30ish lbs. or 14ish kg w/o panniers, but /w front/back racks, small saddle bag w/spare tube and multi tool, pump, and kickstand.

Currently a T800 at 27 lbs without bags. Nothing on the bike that I would consider superlight but it is very far from stock

I also have a raleigh 3 speed, which is aroung the 30lbs mark.
Sometimes I wonder why I paid all that money for a 531 frame that a baggage handler cound dent with a sideways glance.

My Soma Double-Cross with the 36-spoke wheels, rack, and freddy fender clip-ons is just under 25 lbs. Between two small panniers (2400ci), a trunk bag (+600ci), and a Deuter Speedlight pack (+900ci ) I can carry just enough for a three or four day loop. I love it. Ultralight is the only way to go.

Mine is 28 pounds including full fenders, rear rack, 2 water bottle cages, pump, a bunch of tools, patch kit, and two spare tubes. I did take off the water bottles and handlebar bag before weighing. This is a 1980-ish lugged steel bike with a mix of vintage and new components. I was suprised that it was less than what you guys were posting so I re-weighed it on known good 50 pound spring scale, just to be sure.

'94 Trek 520 (which I bought new) is 30lbs stipped. No racks, kickstand, fenders, ect...... I don't wanna know what it weighs now!

Fuji World - just under 25lbs, including rear rack but no pedals, off the shop floor, before I put fenders, cages, and pedals on and swapped the saddle for a B17CS and tires for Conti TT2000s.
