OBS For LHT

More acronyms in the title than I would have liked haha. Anyways, I finally have enough money to make the first step towards my LHT. What is a good OBS to purchase the LHT frame from? And what about a good one for parts? Thanks for the pointer in advance!

Edit: Oh and do you think I should wait for the 07 to come out and maybe I could get clearance on 06s? Also...anyone ridden the complete? Would it be better to purchase that or build it up for an initial tour? I have about $1200 to play with right now so I don't know.

You should review the Surly Long Haul Trucker & Cross-Check Owners Group here (they can answer most any of your questions, plus they have pictures to view of finished LHTs):

+1 I used their site to figure out most of the components for my 06 LHT...although many of the components are TOP of the line & my budget couldn't swing all of them

I had alot of fun piecing my LHT together. Learned alot during the process.

Universalcycles.com has 15% off 300 or more, that should put you close to a decent price on a frame and fork. Have you tried any local bike shops? Mine was able to do it for cheaper than that. Mostly every bike shop can get a LHT from QBP.
