So, if I decided against Power Grips for RAGBRAI, what would you suggest?

I have some Crank Bros clips right now and they work alright but I feel like my feet go numb really quickly. Is that shoe fit or does it have to do with the clip in system?

I'm using the Crank Bros. Smarty pedals and having no problem with numbness. What kind of shoes are you using? Maybe try wearing them around during the day while not riding and see if your feet go numb.
