"a family adventure"
i posted this in socal.... but wanted to cross-post it here for your touring type folks!!!!!!
this family is traveling across/around north america on a triple bike for the hubby and their two eight-year olds... the wife is on a bike on her own... both pulling trailers with their supplies and tent! AMAZING!
"a family adventure" is the start page.... scroll down to "who are we" (which is page 1 of 277) then use the navigation at the bottom of each page.... i haven't read all the text... but i'm enjoying the pictures!!!!!!
i just think this is so amazing in this day and age for a family to do this!!!!!!! They are in texas now... headed northeast to NY!
did i say AMAZING!!!!!!!

I saw this journal shortly after they started and have become semi-addicted to their updates. It is a very cool adventure and they seem to be remarkably normal through it all.

Here's another worthwhile family touring journal. I like how they sell their house in the beginning so there's no turning back. Now that's some real motivation...

Seeker, I met that family last summer! By total chance, on my cross-Canada tour, I happened to stop off at their campground that they run and they recognized the tourer-look. Man, their kids are really grown up for their ages. They're really friendly and a very generous bunch.
