What's not to like...Big Agnes Seedhouse SL2

I have been looking for an ultrlight 2 person tent (for 1) and today stumbled onto the Plano REI store. Lo and and behold there was the anniversary sale. This tent is on sale at $99 less than the REI regular price of $319. So it is at $219.99. At less than 3 puunds it seems that it would work. Does anyone have experience with this tent?
I want to start self contained touring some, mostly in Texas or the southern states with warm/hot weather. Value is the object and not the price so I can go up or down in price but of course, I don't want to buy several tents. I have a Co-motion Nor'westner so I will need to go ultralight. I don't understand about copy and paste but maybe you can go through the REI website above. Next, I need a sleeping bag...does anyone have any suggestions from the sale, again lightweight.
How about the zip off pants on sale.
See anything else I could use for a one-two week ride? I did not get any help at the store, they were too busy.
I am retired and a long time lurker. I have benefitted greatly from looking plus I have been entertained from what I learn from the digest.
Thanks a lot for any help.

i have the big agnes seedhouse sl1 and am very happy with it. i thought that i would not like a one-man tent, but it is surprisingly roomy!. i can only imagine that the sl2 is even more roomy. if you like having all of your stuff in the tent with you, or a companion, than the sl2 will be a great choice. it is light, takes up little room for a two man tent, and is quiick and easy to set up. go for it.

Great tent. I have used it on 2 tours without complaint. Quite roomy for two tall people.

When the fly is on I do need to peg it out well to allow for good air flow or I get condensation in the tent.

I also like the stealth colour.

Yes, this is a great tent. It's very light for the space. I'm 6' tall, and I don't think you'd want to be much taller to enjoy decent headroom at the apex. Some people find it awkward to enter/exit tents from the end rather than the side, but I never found this to be a problem. Without the fly, it's excellent for ventilation and stargazing. The muted color is great, as is the sale price, and REI's gold standard return policy. 'What's not to like' indeed?
