First trip!!!

Had to brag a little.
My sister, dad, and I just completed a 350 mile trip from Fairbanks to Anchorage, Alaska. For my sister and I it was a first, and dad has done a few vacation package type bike trips as well as the STP. We did between 45 and 85 miles a day and traveled with a truck for support. We stayed with friends and at one hotel. The whole trip took 6 days which was one less than we'd planned for. Lots of fun. Dad rode his motobecane speed something or other road bike, I had my 06 specialized sirrus, and my sister gets the prize for completing the entire trip on a kona lana'i. as far as i know the only modification she'd made was to get some slicks.
The punch line is that despite two of us having cameras, there was not a single shot taken during the entire ride. sorry guys. I can, however, assure you that it was a beautiful ride with lots of mountains, trees, and rivers (including a nice and wispy view of Denali in the distance on one day).
I think we'll all be taking more trips in the future, whether together or on our own. I for one am hooked.

Good to hear about a new touring junkie on the planet! Welcome!:D

Next time though, you better get pics or I'll have to put you on super secret touring lodge probation!:p ;)

May you have many, many more tours!
