I would like to hear from someone who has been using it for awhile and has sat in it for 6+ hours for multiple days.

I have had mine for two years now and love it, I also am testing out the Brooks Imperial, the Titanico is pure comfort right out of the box, still waiting for the Brooks to give me the same comfort. I have ridden two centuries on the Titanico and three tours the last two years. Daily average on tour was probably 75 miles per day over six days of riding. I don't need to ride with any padded shorts anymore, but before this seat I couldn't stay in the saddle for over thirty-five miles without discomfort. 130 bucks is a lot of money to spend for a seat but in my case it was well worth it and would buy another in a heartbeat. I'll be taking the Brooks on a 550 mile trip in two weeks I hope it will feel as good as the Titanico does when I'm through.

Sorry if I'm being anal, but "selle" is the french word for saddle. It isn't a brand name. The above phrase could be "You say the saddle breaks in quicker than a brooks...".

I just feel I need to clarify that.

The rear is hard and stays that way. The front is 2 strips of leather. While they stretch, the nose pivots allowing them to move with you.

It's more a question of the saddle being designed to move along with you than it is about breaking in.

Let me add to the positive comments here. I've had one for about a year now and I love it. If they were cheaper I'd get one for each of my three bikes. I can see how the saddle might be too wide for some people, but I'm a clyde and it's perfect for me.

I do have three of these -- one for a 1983 Specialized Expedition, another for a 2008 Co-Motion Americano and the third for our Co-Motion tandem. I have never had numbing problems like stated at the start of this thread last year. For me the saddle is just more comfortable on my sit bones. I got the second and third saddles from Tri Sports, an on line dealer. They had a weekend 20 percent off sale two months ago and I quickly got my order in. I've ridden around 2000 miles since January on these saddles, no discomfort or raw sit bones. Longest ride was 220 miles in the hills in two days.
