Backroads Alaska Trips

Hello Touring Folks,

I usually hang out in the Road room but thought this would be a good place to ask this question.

I want to do a guided bike trip in Alaska next summer and I'm wondering if anyone has done one with Backroads (https://www.backroads.com/trips/BALQ#). Obviously there are a lot of companies that offer bike tours in Alaska, but I came across this one and, though pricey, looks great to me.

If anyone has taken a trip with this outfit, I'd be grateful to hear your thoughts...or your thoughts on other companies you'd recommend. I will also check TripAdvisor.

Thanks.

Why not just do it self supported? I had a blast in Alaska just pitching a tent in the middle of nowhere
