Black panniers in the sun?

I thinking of buying the superblack Ortlieb panniers for my next tour!
I will be riding through extremely warm environments, will they boil/burn my stuff, ignite my gas, simply melt, or.....

Have anyone tried that scenario out???

I toured with dark panniers for many summers, and nothing ever melted, boiled, ignited, or exploded.

I had no problems with black panniers touring Greece for several months. And I packed a Coleman stove using gasoline.

Out fishing with Annie on his lap, a cigar in one hand and a ginger ale in the other, watching the sunset.

Just don't pack Limburger cheese in them.....

You'll really regret that
