Crazyguy!!!!!
In case anyone didn't notice....
Welcome, NeilGunton, author of crazyguyonabike.
Neil, thanks a million. There's a journal on your site that helped me have the guts to do my first solo tour. Thanks for enabling a really great chapter in my life.

Noticed, and I was glad. Neil's been posting like a madman on his own site. Looks like he has a few projects in the works.

Neil's side notes on his posts show he has been a member of the forums since November 2003.
Indeed, in my opinion, he is one of the most oustanding people in the cycling world for his incredible contribution. I was one of the first people (in the context of probably the first 500 compared with millions now) to read his original cgoab adventure.

Curse you NG, I was just FINE until I ran across your journal... thought I was Vasco De Gama on a mountain bike, now, nothing's the same. And, uh, I'll be using CGOAB for my journal... thanks.

+ several <bowing in deep respect to The Crazy Guru On a Bike>
CGOAB is the best reality show not on TV. I'm just catching up with Peter Gostelow's epic journey across Asia this winter. Viewing those great photos on my Mac at home, in large format, is a very real treat. I'm even getting my wife hooked on a few of these adventures (including Nancy S-V's, see above), so thanks for giving me a better chance of getting my entire family out there on the road.
And congratulations on your award from ACA this winter! Much deserved!
Preparing my CGOAB journal #2 as we speak.

Crazyguy is a great website. I updated it as often as I could on my 2 month tour and the family/friends loved it. It was fun to have them and many other people I didn't know following me across the country. Thanks for the great resource and keep up the good work!

AC's award is well earned. I love the CGOAB site and will be posting a ride or two this summer IF I actually get up the nerve to start the posts. Thanks for what you do.
