Northern Nevada- Jarbidge

I've wanted to explore the Jarbidge wilderness area for many years and now that I live in Southern Idaho, it's just a 2 or 3 day ride there from home. Has anyone ridden/been in that area? Very remote and lots of miles on dirt roads but I would really like to head down there this summer. Maybe spend a couple of weeks exploring.

Bruce

Best check the extent of the Murphy Complex Fire last July which burned almost 600,000 acres in the Jarbidge area on the Idaho -Nevada border.

Thanks, yeah it looks like I'd be crossing about 8 miles of toasted area before getting to Murphy where the fire didn't make it to. Jarbidge itself was well clear of the fire but it did get up into the mountains more than I had thought, still looks like a reasonable plan for a trip I think.

We had horrible smoke here from all of the fires last summer.
