Wildlife pics while touring
We just went through the most spectacular area I've ever cycled through - the northern Rockies in northern BC. We passed by a LOT of animals during that 330 miles and it was really, REALLY cool. I thought it might make a neat thread if everyone posts pics of the wildlife they've seen w hile touring. Anyone interested??

OK - this one doesn't have a pic of a bike in it but I was straddling my bike when I took it!

I have a picture of a rattlesnake from our last tour - but I cut its head off. And then there was the time my son was frozen on a boulder with not one, but two rattlesnakes 24 inches from his feet!! But that wasn't when we were cycling...
And I forgot about this one of a caribou up in the Arctic Circle...

Cool thread! I love all the pics, especially the bear!
I think Pepe le Pew was the only one we caught on camera on this last trip.

This one is from last year.

Hey thanks! You can see him much better now!
I wish we had gotten a shot that wasn't his butt.

Not sure, but this one may actually be domesticated. Near Bull Run, Idaho.

We saw this one in a marsh near Wallace, Idaho. It's the biggest dog I've ever seen.

Okay, it wasn't on a tour, it was just a daily ride.
But C'mon a Wild Turkey in Central Park!?
Yep they live there and they have more eggs that will hatch soon.
I almost crashed my bike!
