Thanks Tom!

Sounds like Ryan is going into some cold weather. I wish him well and hope he makes it.

Bikes: "Hildy", a Novara Randonee touring bike; a 16-speed Bike Friday Tikit; and a Specialized Stumpjumper frame-based built-up MTB, now serving as the kid-carrier, grocery-getter.

Just got off the phone with him; He's in a hotel in a suburb of Richmond, and Fredericksburg tomorrow is sounding good. He's hooked up with another documentary cinematographer, and is riding tomorrow with someone from Philly (sorry, forgot the name).

"Since December 2nd, Iíve ridden my bicycle from Occidental College in Los Angeles and am currently en-route to Washington DC for the inauguration. A primary purpose of my ride has been to inspire people to be the change that Barack spoke about bringing to Washington. Along the way Iíve met Americans of every political persuasion, recent immigrants and foreign nationals who all share a combined sentiment of optimism for the future of the nation with Obama as President."

Looks like he made it to the right place. I am very glad he made it to the land of mulct and corruption.

Good job Josh way to pull for the team!

I can attest to the cold here in the DC area. I commute everyday and temps are very low and getting lower. Single digits for tonight and tomorrow. Riding 1 hour in this stuff is brutal.
Local riders are looking for beds for the caravan. Apparently it has grown in size. I think it might 10 or more.
One heck of an accomplishment for the young man. While he might have stepped on some of your toes he has been a good messenger for cycling.

Ryan has accomplished his goal, so any further advice would be superfluous.

Great job, Ryan!
