Townie Incompatible Issues ???
 

I was talking with someone at the bicycle shop where I purchased my Townie, and they told me that I can only use special racks designed only for the Townie? Is that true, or are they just trying to sell me stuff?

I would like to use the Surly Nice front racks on my Townie. Haven't decided which rear rack to get just yet. I already have a rear rack with basket, but I will need a different rear rack that will hold more weight and is more stable.

Does anyone know if I can use the Surly Nice front rack on my Townie, or others as well?
