LHT forks on my Cross Check
I am happy to announce I have new forks on my Cross Check. I put some LHT forks, nice rack, and TransIt Pro's on and it rides nice. You can't even see the forks to notice the color difference.

So is it a "Cross Trucker" now?
On the other hand, Cross truckers are what you call the semi drivers who get stuck behind you when the road is too narrow to pass.

Hi,
I was wondering how you like your surly LHT fork. I have an older Trek that I have but thick 45mm Schwalbe Marathons on, and the the front tire rubs just a touch on the fork crown. I have filed away a bit of the old Trek fork, but this doesn't seem terribly safe.
Does your LHT fork have enough room for really thick tires?

I looked at the Surly website and it can take 45's without fenders and 42's with fenders. These are 37's.
