Salsa Fargo

I am planning a 4000+ mile Trans Am tour for the summer of 2010 and have finally made the decision between the Surly LHT and the Fargo. I already have a Salsa El Mariachi singlespeed and really love the frame. I have been riding a Redline Cross bike for quite a while and generally favor the 700 / 29 rim and drop bar.

I know this is a relatively new frame, but just wanted to know if anyone out there had any experience with it. I will be riding several passes in CO, and some of them look downright nasty as far as road conditions (mosquito pass from Leadville to Fairplay being the worst). The Fargo is one of the first production expedition touring bikes I know of. You can modify a 26" to take on just about anything, but I just can't give up my big wheel. Too bad there aren't rack mounts on my redline.

Old Man Mountain makes racks that will fit on your redline.
