Dry bags
 

Looking for dry bag, about 8 x 20 inches, for upcoming tour. Any suggestions?

Do they have to be dry bag panniers or a rucksack that can fit into them or, what are you looking for exactly? There are many options. The best, if you have panniers already is just strong kitchen compactor bag rolled up properly put into your pannier.

If you will be kayaking, I would suggest getting an actually plastic/rubber rucksack without ties. You want the rolling kind at the top.

I got a couple that size a few years ago at Walmart. Cheap and they have worked well.

Yes if you are just looking for the bags. U can get a 3 pack small variety from like 16-24" really cheap at walmart in the camping isle.

Nt sure what kind you want, but NRS has some nice ones at decent prices.

I have used roll top dry bags from OR/Outdoor Research and Sea to Summit for bike touring and sea kayak touring for the last 20 years. They have been light and durable and most of all effective in keeping my gear very dry.

We discovered the new light weight roll top bags made by OR on our last tour. While not river raft quality like NRS, they worked great keeping our thermarests and clothing dry during some really intense rain storms.

I think Outdoor Research has exactly what I was looking for. Waterproof, light, priced right. Ordered 3. Thanks.
