Bridges and Tunnels

If motorists, bicyclists, and pedestrians wish to cross the Delaware River into Pennsylvania they will need to know the restrictions.

Crossing the Delaware River

These bridges are listed south to north.

Delaware Memorial Bridge
Route 40 and New Jersey Turnpike
Deepwater, NJ to Wilmington, DE
No cars or trucks

Commodore Barry Bridge
Route 322
Bridgeport, NJ to Chester, PA
No cars or trucks

Walt Whitman Bridge
I-76
Camden, NJ to Philadelphia, PA
No cars or trucks

Ben Franklin Bridge
Route 30
Camden, NJ to Philadelphia, PA
Cars are permitted on the roadway 6 pm to 7 am, no charge for bikes/peds

Betsy Ross Bridge
Pennsauken
New Jersey to Philadelphia, PA
No cars or trucks, roadway is closed to motor vehicles

Tacony Palmyra Bridge
Route 73 in Palmyra
New Jersey to the Tacony section of Philadelphia
Cars may be pushed on roadway

Burlington Bristol Bridge
Burlington County Route 541 and PA Route 413
Burlington, NJ to Bristol, PA
No motor vehicles, roadway is blocked

Turnpike Bridge
NJ Turnpike to I-276, Pennsylvania Turnpike
No cars or trucks

From Trenton north to the New York State line most bridges have walkways. Motorists are required to push vehicles on roadways. Cars must be pushed over all bridges with vehicle access.

That's "Bike-Friendly" -
But edit mode doesn't appear to permit changes to title.
