I put a set of Vredestein Perfect Moiree tires on my Miyata 1000 today. We'll see how they handle the Oregon coast this summer. They look nice and are smooth and quiet, I like that.

I've got to get a set of VO fenders, a handlebar bag and work on some lower gearing, then she'll be ready for touring.

Great looking setup. I also have to get my CrossCheck geared differently....and then she will be ready as well. Good luck on your endeavour
