Velo Orange Brooks saddle Copy

has anyone tried one of these? any comments? is it worth saving a few bucks over a brooks? i imagine velo orange would like this saddle to stand alone, rather than be considered a copy of the brooks... anyone??? https://www.velo-orange.com/brookssaddles.html

depending which model of brooks you are considering, you can get them cheaper than the VO saddles. BikeIsland has B17s for $70 and with the dollar so strong, ordering from the UK is probably cheaper than that.

How about that.

Can get real Brooks a lot cheaper than US prices here:

I think those VOs are still cheaper yet though.

FYI, Rivendell is selling a made-in-Taiwan Brooks wannabe as well. The write-up on the Rivendell website is pretty clear about its pluses and minuses.

Personally, for a bike I ride a *lot,* I wouldn't be interested in the savings - not a good place to try to save a few bucks.
